Very nice Wren pose. I like the perch. I might tone down the end of the cattail. The large image shows some nice details.

Sweet little Wren in a typical "tails up" singing pose. Well seen and taken. No nits.

A really nice shot here Craig. Wish I could get marsh wrens to come out and play with me. They barely ever show their faces around here.

Typical pose and setting. Light looks a bit harsh. I'd be happy with this.

I think that the setting and pose are over the top! Just tone down the highlights a bit, and this will be a real top-drawer shot!

Very nice Craig. I especially like that singing pose so typical of them and the nicely OOF background - something I seldom get with this species. For me, the highlights here aren't really a bother - perhaps because they're more subdued than they are in many of my images with cattail perches. I like the image (and the species) a lot.

I can hear them at the marsh but have a hard time getting close, so that makes this one all the more remarkable. Sweet light and wonderful pose. Congratulations Craig. :toast:

Craig,
This is gorgeous. Looks like you had some lighting issues to deal with and you did excellent. Like others have noted there is the one little hot spot at the tip of the cat tail but otherwise I really like this a lot. Beautiful blurred out background and a natural setting. Wel done Craig. Craig,

I love the great singing pose you caught this wren in, the setting is delightful and I like the open bill a lot. I prefer your repost because of the toned down highlights. I'd love to get a wren out in the open like this. well done.
