I like the way the one bird is emphasized by the light, the pose, and the reflection. I get the sense of the individual and of the flock.

Sandy,

There always seems to be someone that's up before everyone else. Looks like his eyes are half open (slits). Great light on the underparts of the wing with the "Golden Hour Glow" on them. Nice capture Sandy. I like it. Dave

Sandy

I like how the two birds in the front are in much different poses than the birds in the background, the light and the uplifted wings of the one godwit

Nice Sandy. The reflection makes the shot for me.

Normally I don't like having other OOF birds in the photo but this sure works. The light, the pose, and the focal point all work together. :toast:

Nice light and composition, Sandy. I think I might be tempted to remove the second foreground bird to make the main subject really pop out. :toast:

I like this a lot Sandy, for me it's tough to get a flock shot like this to work well, this works really well both for a concept and the photo. :toast:

It is a very nice photo, but for me I would have tried placing the main bird more in the center of the frame, I know that is against the rules of composition, but IMHO it would give the bird more impact in the image. Thanks for sharing.
