BlackSands

Hello :)

This is another cold abstract experiment. I really enjoyed searching for the correct exposure on the withdrawing sea ...

the image is from the very black sand of Vik , in Iceland

Without too much retouching .. Just the curves adjustements in the RAW processing.

thank you for all your message, I really appreciate.

Terrific perspective here. Great use of contrasts with the very dark rocks and sand.

This is great. I like the contrast and the pattern from the water and long exposure is very nice.

Alexandre,

You have posted outstanding images from Iceland and I think I like this one the best so far.

I love the out of the box, extreme contrast and range of tone. How this fades from pitch black to white and the flow between the two, is amazing and engaging. Very impressive imagery.

Alexandre....great vision here... this subject is pretty common but you've successfully presented it in a very new and novel way... well done. I love the gradient in tonality from black to white and everything in between and the contrast in shapes (the stones) and the fluid motion of the water

Stunning. The black rocks and black sand go perfectly with these streaks of water. Agree with the others that this is a very strong image.

Wow, This is wild and unusual and incredibly beautiful! What amazing contrasts arranged so perfectly in your composition. The white spots on the first foreground rock are a perfect added touch to a perfect image.
