I rescued this Peony (at least I think it is,) from yet another day of spring rains.

Craig, Never seen a Begonia quite like this before. Nice photo sharp and soft at the same time. Not sure about the crop on the right, composing the whole flower would be my preference.

I'm not 100% sure this is a begonia although their seem to be several varities. This bloom is a little larger then a softball. I'm sure their are a few horticulturist out there that can identify it.
Thank you!

Hi Craig. I believe we're looking at a peony here. I like the overall appearance of the image. Clear yet dreamy; almost looks like it is underwater (very appropriate for the rainy day). Nice light also. I might prefer that the right side was not cut off.

Thank you Philip, for the proper identification. I wasn't sure of the name only that I look forward to them blooming as they are so beautiful.

Craig: I'm going to jump on the bandwagon wishing that the right side wasn't clipped but I like the colors and your DOF management. Nicely done.>=))>

Other than the clip on the right side - a beautiful image. In particular, I like the softness in the bloom and the light.
