An early morning shot of one of my Siberian Iris clumps by the pond.
Shot with a Canon 40D 70-200mm F4IS @127mm f8 ISO200 1/30 sec hand held.
Some minor cloning of petals that would have been touching the edge of the frame were made.

Bob, I like the slight top down angle to the shot which shows a lot more details on the Siberian Iris than a more level shot. Works well as presented and about the only thing I'd request you is to post a slightly higher quality (more Kilobytes in it) file. This one is pixellated and I am sure has taken away a lot of fine details.

Sweet image Bob. Great color and detail. The gray BG is the perfect compliment to the blue iris. I also like the watercolor look to the BG. Really nice. :cool:

Beautiful Bob, the BG has a misty look, and I love the way the blue stands out against it. Very nice indeed.
