Where Imaginations Fall

This was a pleasant surprise to me. I looked up the face of 80' sandstone wall. Water delicately sprinkles its way down sanctifying all that is below. Im not quite sure why but I felt a burst of imaginations with each drop of water. Nature is the best healer and gives us the creative thoughts if we conjure up it's beauty. A recipe of light, water and a little peace makes for a nice morning.

I have been really studying the elements around me. Factoring in light, shapes and the many moods of nature. Living in the midwest can be challenging but Im not going to let it beat me

Thanks again for all your time and comments (especially on my last image)
Much appreciation!

Stop whining, you come up with some incredible images!!!!!! This one is no exception either. I like the looking up perspective, and the cool drops of water raining down. This looks like a great place.

I like it, Anthony, and am always impressed at the images you bring us from the Midwest . . . when you're not off somewhere else. Can't help but wonder how you kept your lens and yourself dry with this one?

Thanks Tony,
Actually I did get some drops. A lot of wipe, check, and shoot repeat action. Believe it or not flare was more a problem than the drops. Had to use my hat and hands a lot but finally got a shot without.
It was just fun staring up and watching swallows fly around as well

Awesome image and very creative. The inclusion of a bit of the rim at the top was crucial to the success of the composition- great work!

I like your up-looking perspective here Anthony. Not easy to do with all that water raining down. Beautiful work once again!

Great stuff, Anthony. I like the little bit of colour that the vibrant green plants add to the scene.

Very cool! Terrific display of light and the elements. I agree with Mike about the top being crucial, in fact i wish there was just a tiny bit more visible. Great stuff.
Im probably headed out onto the Plains in a couple days to try to catch some twisters or at the very least a nice sunset out in the prairie

yep!! another fine image! I was reading tony´s comment and ended thinking more about flare than water drops but then I saw you´re comment below about it, must have been a tough one to pull out with all these issues. great work, anthony!! love the light and dreamy feel of this, colors too!

Another nice capture Anthony, the thumbnail doesn't do it justice at all. I like the perspective here, and the processing looks great as always. Well seen and captured.

Anthony,

I think one of the most incredible and intriguing images up on the first page today. Incredible because of the beautiful light, and intriguing because of the mystery of it all. to me, this looks like it could be under water, the way the light is dappled all over the rocks. I think this is a special image. Congrats!
