Morning in Rondane, Norway

I had to use both a 2-stop and a 3-stop ND Grad filter to get the forground exposed right.
It was a beautiful morning in this swamp aera. I feel sometimes i place my ND Grad filters a bit to much down, wich darkens the ground in the mid aera.

Kurt,

I see you've been registered for a while, but I've missed your first post and still wanted to welcome you to the ES&S Gallery!

This is an excellent landscape and I think you did very well the combo of grads. The middle portion which looks like a lava field or something looks naturally dark anyway, so it would make for a good break for the grad. The suggestion I have would be for the very top of the grasses where I think you could dodge that a little bit to match the grasses closer to the front. but it's very close and honestly I think you did a good job with the usage of the filters.

Wonderful sky, interesting texture and color in the foreground. The large version shows extremely well. Good work and thanks for sharing!

Very nice Kurt! This has an epic feel to it and the sky is really dramatic. I would even consider toning down the highlights in the foreground to push the viewer's eye further up into the range of peaks and that gorgeous sky.
