Oxeye daisies

I know the "Wild Thing" theme is over, but I still have wildflowers to post! I've been going crazy over all the wildflowers thus far this spring.

These daisies have been absolutely prolific this year. My husband found one spot where pastures on both sides of the road were blanketed with these blooms. These were shot in a pasture in Wabaunsee Co. over a barbed wire fence which (luckily for me) was not hot-wired or I would have gotten a nice shock. Compositions were somewhat limited because of the fence.

Canon Rebel XTI, tripod, polarizer
70-200 mm lens
ISO 100, F4 @ 1/1600

Very nice receding depth of field effect here, Angela. Nice handling of the whites and the strong slanted verticals add much to the composition

Doesn't look like you were fighting a fence at all! I really like this comp, Angela. The dof is exquisite. The overall feel is calm, tranquil and happy. Just very well done!
