Blue Mountains Sunrise

I have spent sometime in recent two months to take photos of Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. This is the one I took last week. I like the subrise light shedding on the Three Sisters and far away mountain ridge, also the morning mist in the valley looked nice.

But I don't know how other people think about this photo. C&C are highly appreciated. Please view the large version.

I like the texture of stone and trees, and the sunrise glow on the distant ridge. For my taste, a little less pano to include just a bit more sky would better balance the shadows.

Sweet light on the sisters here, nicely connects the fg to the background ridge.

I love the warm light just kissing the tops of the ridges and formations. The panoramic composition works very well here.

This is one that really needs to be viewed large to be enjoyed thoroughly. I love your composition, and also the feeling of the vast, open space. Very nice Yan.

Wonderful lighting and views here. Great choice for a pano. I really like how the mist leads you around the valley bottoms.

Great job on getting and seeing this. The light on the ridges and the curve in the valley really makes the image, well done.

Dear all, Thanks for your comments. Phil, you probably are right, a bit more sky maybe balance the overall scene better. I will have a try.

Yan,

What a grand view! And your panoramic composition fits perfectly. I think the balance between the near foreground rock towers with the distant cliffs and the last light is just wonderful. the river/fog running between the two elements creates a natural division that actually helps hold the two pieces together. Nicely seen and captured.
