I shot this image during a 2 week bicycle tour of the Oregon coast. I used a Canon 5D with a 17-40 L and 2 stop soft step Graduated ND filter (Sigh Ray). Any critique comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

AWESOME colors and silky wave movement in the foreground. This is just plain beautiful Shaun! The only thing I would fix is the slight CCW horizon tilt. Great job on this image!

Beautiful work Shaun! I like this soft look a lot. I agree with Michael - some tilt is noticable.

Very well composed and exposed. The tilt is an easy fix and then you've a very good one to keep.

Love the pastel colors in this image. Nice leading lines into the image. I wish for just a bit more room on the right side. Slight tilt to the left is easy enough to fix.

The colors make this image. You've framed the elements perfectly.
Agree on the tilt.

Well, i'm gonna be a little hard on you here cause my colorful shot is pretty flawed too
Aside from the tilt, and my personal bias in favor of shorter exposures with surf, i find the balance here rather uncomfortable. This is tailor-made for thirds--2/5ths is just bad here.
But i really like the lines and diaganol shoreline, and some great conditions!

You got some nice atmospheric conditions and with that nice luminosity in the water makes for a superb seascape. Great one, Shaun!

What a great color palette, beautiful. Agree about fixing the horizon line.

Shaun,
Welcome to NPN and the ES&S Gallery. What a beautiful first post, the colors are wonderful. I think the comp works well with the great patterns in the surf, the diagonal line leading the viewer in to the from. I would consider cropping nearly 1/2 the dark cloud above just to keep the emphasis on that wonderful surf.
I'm guessing... but was this hand held? bike tour.... probably not carrying a tripod? My only nit would be that the rocks are soft; hand held with a relatively slow shutter speed would probably give these results. Fortunately, the "soft" water and clouds are kinda letting you get away with the soft focus throughout. I'm really enjoying the colors and motion in the surf.
Thanks for sharing and we look forward to more posts and your contributions.

Hello Lon,
Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I will take a look at the sharpening as the rocks looked sharp to me in the original file. Incidentally, I was the butt of the other bicycle tourist jokes for carrying a Gitzo tripod strapped to my rear rack. They tended to think that I may as well have a portable ice cream maker if I was going to be that liberal with the weight of my cycle. But, alas a tripod is a photographic necessity.

Beautiful textures though tout the image. There is a heavy blue color cast in the water and throughout the image but it makes this image appear moody.
