Algae art

Gallery: LandscapePosted June 29, 201093 views4 comments

Made this image in a near by reservoir. As I was scouting through the banks, I discovered an interesting patch of algae. The surface was smeared with wings of some butterfly/fly. I was drawn to the scene and made this image.

JPEG compression might have taken some details off. :(

Thanks in advance for your views and thoughts.

What a fantastic abstract--im shocked no one has commented yet

I might crop a bit of the top (seems to have lost a little sharpness at the very top) but otherwise this is unwordly--very cool!

Pramod,

Interesting patterns, lines and textures for sure and nice array of colors too. Can't say I'd hang it on my wall, but certainly this would work very well as part of a series or collection of nature abstracts.

As an abstract, it works very well. I can't really tell what it is, but don't really need to. Pretty unique I'd say.

Beautiful patterns & lovely abstract Pramod. Love those ring-like arrangement & the layers of colours.
Well seen and made.
