Simple Red Rose

Well, this is certainly the flower season and considering the quality of the images being posted recently the bar has definitely been raised.
Grabbed this shot earlier this evening between rain squalls. Not great composition, but it was the best I could come up with without blowing the bg. With all the traffic Flora is getting right now I had to throw one out there. Thanks for looking.

Nice portrait Bruce. The rain drops add a nice element. I think you left the right amount of room around the bloom.

No need to be modest about the composition of this capture Bruce. IMHO it is very well presented. Separation is right on. The raindrops add to the subject and the bg compliments the subject. Congratulate yourself as I am sure others will do to you. :toast:

Bruce: I like the comp and I certainly like the subject. This has a freshness to it that is very appealing. Good call on using the polarizer. Top notch stuff. >=))>

Bruce, comp looks great to me. Nice detail, color, light, and BG. And the water drops top off an already nice image.
