Another sweet shot. The light is wonderful in this. I love the harmonic tans and browns - a nice understated image.

The two best things about this fine image for me is the wonderful soft lighting and the detail of the feathers that have a three dimensional appearance especially on upper back. Nice!!!

Excellent color palette and your usual fine techs. I'm not very good at those eastern cormorants, but this looks like a Double-crested and not a Neotropic; range maps show Louisiana has both.

Very nice image Ronnie, the warm earth tones and calm water really set off this image. A beauty.

The color, sharpness and composition make this shot. I gave a group of cormorants 5 minutes from my house. Now after seeing your I will have to settle for mine.

It looks as if the wing feathers were cast in bronze, BB. You have got to love that early morning light on the water.
