Pride of Colorado

I took this last Monday up at Chicago Creek in Colorado. So many Columbines and so many different looks and variety.

5d, 28-135mm w/macro, tripod, remote shutter release, diffuser screen, and reflector.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

A beautiful image of the Colorado State Flower Morris. Love the sparkles below the bloom that give the image depth and the darkness that surrounds.

The "highlight" of this image, IMO, is the lighting....great use of the diffuser and reflector. I also like the fact that you included a bud along with the open flower.

Everything strikes me as perfect technically Morris. However, it's the light and the mood of the image that appeal most to me. Superb work.
