Then came Silence ...

A "classic " effect, I admitt, ... with this maelstrom of stars ... with 30 Minutes exposure .

But this far 'glow' and the cross leaning towards the eye of the storm inspired me . we can also notice the milky way .

Chalets de Sales . Sixt . Haute savoie . France .

Stunning image. Looking strait into the heavens one might believe, and the cross is no doubt a powerful addition to the story. I'd like to move this to the Man and Nature gallery though, due to the cross. I wouldn't suspect it is a natural feature and it has great significance here. Awesome image as usual!

Is that a cross or a telephone pole? Either way, I love the range of light and color throughout, and of course the Star trails.

A beautiful image, Alexandre. The cross is highlighted well silhouetted against the lighter sky and the star trails are wonderful. The blur of color is also quite beautiful in the night sky. Great shot!

I wouldn't call this classic Alex, rather a unique creation with that bright yellow light and the silhouetted cross! :toast:

Very powerful image Alexandre. I'm betting you could sell something like this to one of those religious bands that seems to be coming so popular mainstream these days. Has that feel to it. Nice photo for sure.
