Here is a waterfall in one of my favourite place in Alps Mountains.

Canon EOS 7D + Sigma 10-20mm + ND 0.9 HiTech 100 filter (on Z-series Cokin holder)
EXIF: f/22, 13 sec., 10mm, ISO 100

Hope you will enjoy it, and all comments and critics are welcome

Water and mountains - places I love too. I'm not sure about the shot though, David. For one, the trunk doesn't work very well here. Sometimes they do, but here it just crosses the shot and ends up in a spot that isn't too important to lead to eye to (the beast part is the center here). At the bottom the shot is too long and less exiting - I would suggest a crop of at least one fourth of the height. Exposure-wise the shutter speed was a bit long resulting in a complete loss of the water detail on the main fall. I think f/22 wasn't necessary here as well as the use of the ND. I would have tried the shot without the ND and taken a brighter exposure for the foreground if necessary. Aside from that the shadows are a bit deep in the foreground and the greens on the other shore lack some punch (more brightness & contrast).
So ... overall we get a good impression of the place but there's some room for improvement. If that's a place you visit often, I would definitely give it another try with some of my suggestions in mind. Keep it up and good luck.

Thank you Andreas for your very interesting critics.
This is not a place I visit often, anyway a place I will go further times (my favourite valley in french Alps).
I will try to do better the next time I'll be there

I like the composition with the log coming out of the LHC but the big area of white is a big distraction and hurts the pohto overall. As Andreas suggesed, the use of the ND with f/22 created some problems for you.

Hi David,
I have to agree about the comp - the trunk does serve as a leading line to the falls, but it has become your main subject in the photo because of how large it is in the frame and how it bisects the frame into 2 equal halves - I therefore find it intrusive to the real glory of the water.
