Dreamlike is definitely the way to describe this. It's surprising how little movement shows in the clouds after four minutes, and I guess the coolest thing is the shape in the sand that looks like it's floating in the misty water. I'm a little uneasy about the balance, but other than that...

Amazing image! I love the colors and the misty feel from the long exposure is wonderful. Great comp, what a place! I like the difference between the light and dark also. This really works for me.

It is very dreamlike - I really like the warm/cool contrast.

What a wonderful dramatic shot Kah. Very mysterious and moody. I would like to see the highlights on the rocks even darker.Excellent image.

Dreamy indeed! I think the darkness on the left is important in contributing to that feeling, along with the sidelit highlights and smoothing of the waves around the dark forms. I like the way the light from the orange sky seems to be trying to penetrate the darkness, painting the cliffs on the upper left shore.

It's hardly water anymore, but I really like the way it softens the textures of the rocks. What a great mix of colors here.

Amazing image. The water has virtually disappeared leaving a misty landscape. The reflections on the rocks really engage the viewer and are in stark contrast to the dreamy water.

Fantastic shot, those rocks look very other-worldly! Which West Coast beach was this? Near Punakaiki?

Dreamlike indeed, great athomspehere and colour here. I'm amazed by the lack of movement in the cluods for a 4 min exposure!

What, is "Dreamscape" the new hip word here? Marc A. started a revolution with that word didn't he?!!
Just joking with you Kah Kit! I love the darkness to light. This is wonderful!

Very dreamy indeed KK. I especially like the bottom 2/3rds. In the top section I would retrieve a bit of shadow detail on that dark hill.

Love the mysterious and ethereal qualities found in this image. My eye flows nicely from the rock reflections in the LRC along the sandbar edge up into the distant stacks in the UL. Nice work!

Wow...I'm surprised that in four minutes that is all the cloud movement you got. Must have been a very calm day. Interesting shine in the foreground rocks. There is a lot going on in this one.

Hello Kah kit,
Oh wouah, what sensuality on this one to capture by the long exposure : ) and the composition is very pleasant, the various lines on the foreground as well as this dynamic sky gives a great depth. The colors are really magical!!!
