Evening - Fire Light in the french alps .. We were approaching the "derochoir" 2200 m and we saw this very small lake .. It was quite difficult to find the correct moment for the clouds , creating a beautiful shape with its reflection.

I like the comp, Alexandre, but the technical side of the image has some issues. The colors in the lower half of the image look weird. The blown-out areas in the water aren't nice and way too strong in the image. There's a halo around the mountain ridge and the top of the peaks are too dark compared to the lower areas.
I would give the lower half of the image a massive new treatment. If that's not possible I would crop the image in the middle and take care of the smaller issues in the upper half.
Hope I could give you some helpful advices here. Keep it up.

I would agree with Andreas. This one is not quite up to your usual high standards. There seems to be a strong grad line in the sky that needs a little work, and the reflection is quite a bit lighter than the sky. Comp seems very nice though.

Thank you for your help
I agree , the transition seems a bit too strong ..
but the colors .. maybe it's my screen , but I don't really feel a big problem .. maybe too much warming filter effect .
I should try to work on the treatment again !

Looks like an amazing place Alexandre. The mountains hold more interest for me than anything else, but you seem to have some serious posterization issues in both the sky and the water. Possibly from over-processing the image?

Wondering, but with your lens set at a wide angle focal length, especially lower than 24mm and the use of a polarizer can cause that odd non-uniform polarization of the image. That is what looks like happened here - dark and polarized in the upper left corner, blown out in the lower right corner - basically what I am saying is some parts of the image are polarized and others are not. I don't use my polarizer with my wide angle lens (77mm ring) when set at 17mm to 22mm because of this reason. Excellent comp - hope it works out with further editing.

A mountain image that's dramatic and has lots of potential but the technical flaws are significant. The reflection blown out and not showing any of the colour in the sky is the most glaring problem.
