From one of the many sesiosn this past month of floral subjects cut down in their prime and brought into the studio to be shot.

I know it was captured using my 5DMII, w/100mm F/2.8 L IS USM Macro lens @ F/22 for "x" seconds, RAW, manually exposed, probably about 1 stop under, ISO 50, Liveview with the aide of a Hoodman Loupe with 3X Magnifier attachment, mirror locked up, tripod w/remote release, and posibly using my wife's hand mirror to reflect light back onto subject.

RAW files processed in LR tweaking black, calrity and luminsecense

Photoshop - nik filters and a sharpen action

The color and detail is fantastic, not to mention the perfect composition, what can I say Steve. Simply beautiful.

I think I may like this better than your previous series. And the water droplets are a nice touch.

Steven I think you must own a lily farm. Another beautiful and thoughtful composition. I like that you add larger versions to see the detail in so fine a photograph :toast:

Steven: Got a big  -meter spike from this one! The bolder colors here distinguish it from your earlier series. For some reason this one resonates more with me than the others and that's saying a lot. Superbly crafted image. >=))>
