While we were in Alaska we took a little cruise down Endicott Arm and this is a shot of it. I like the way the layers show the depth as well as the foggy mountains. Please comment for my learning benefit.

Well done! Alaska water pictures like this make me yearn to return to Alaska once again. A large dynamic range here. Wonder what it would look like in black and white?

Looks cold and moody. Wish I was there!

Very cool shot. Really like the mood and vastness to it.

Lovely mood and atmosphere here, Walt. I bet you could get even more mood and drama if you did a black and white with a little high contrast in the clouds.

It looks like you had roughly the same weather on your trip to Endicott as I did on a recent visit to Tracy Arm (not the easiest to photograph but still pretty rewarding). Already fairly panoramic, this almost wants even more cropping. It would be nice to have a sky that was deserving of filling over half the frame, but I think you've done a good job trying to portray the vast space under the given conditions.

nice scene. i'd be inclined to go b&w and seek more contrast in the clouds and their reflection.

Very nice. I would go darker with the water and reflections for mood.

This is wonderful! I might play around a little with the exposure and contrast here and there, but very nice as presented too.
