Yellow Headed Caracara

While on the Tarcoles River near the Pacific coast in Costa Rica, we found this Caracara calling. The perch was great and the background was a nice distant group of trees.

The original was a horizontal. Not sure what I was thinking at the time

Looks great as posted Keith. You did very well with sharpness considering this was hand held on a moving boat. What a pose!

Sweet One Kieth! The rim light adds a nice contrast between the bird and background.

A very nice calling pose Keith and I like both perch and background but I do think it's a little soft.
