I was not prepared for this picture in the mid-day light visiting a friend in the mountains, but, I couldn't just let it sit there.

While the colors are nice, I notice an overall lack of sharpness and several blown out highlights

A lovely specimen beautifully caught, Bob, with all the greenery surrounding it. Not easy in strong light but I think you've pulled it off really well !!

Good capture considering the harsh lighting. Colors are slightly flat but acceptable. A diffuser may help if you have one.

Excellent color and comp. I agree about taming the highlights some and a touch of sharpening for web. Very nicely done.
