Taken up at Logan Pass. These types of shots are easy to come by in such an area. However, they provide great practice for someone starting out photographing wildlife. I already learned something--I caught this guy jumping off a rock. Unfortunately, I was using 1/250", and there was the slightest amount of blur in his legs. Next time I'll up it to at least 1/500", perhaps 1/1000" to be safe.

Canon 5D2
Canon 70-200mm

That peek-a-boo pose makes this a real keeper. It is hard to assess detail at the smaller size, but this is pleasing as posted.

I like composition and colours, well exposed too. Blur not visible in small format
Nice! Ingrid.

I love the pose and composition you created here Ron and find this very appealing. IMO rreally the only thing that could have improved this is better (softer) light.
