Shot last month on the coast between Bamburg and Seahouses, Northumberlad, UK.
We were looking at Farne Islands (not far from the coast) waiting for some sunset colours, but nothing interesting happened on the Islands. In those minutes these clouds were at our back. Luckly we noticed them!

I like the minimalist take on this scene. Great light and soft color on the clouds, which are fantastic.

Beautiful soft image. You must have had a fair amount of wind to round off those clouds. Well done.

Great clouds you've captured here. Like the composition with the land minimized. That little tree adds a lot to the comp. as well. Nice capture.

Fantastic clouds! Gotta just love those lenticulars - although I thought they only occurred in the Eastern Sierra of the US...

Not much you could do about it short of cloning, but I'm kinda wishing the dark bush wasn't there. Oh well, the sky more than covers that.... Great catch.

I like the tasteful pastel color effect of this photo. This kind of scene is very easily over saturated and over sharpened. You have done a masterful job. In addition, I like the dark tree anchoring the frame and provide as counter balance point to the lightness of clouds. In my opinion, this tree is what make this photo outstanding!!

About the tree: we think that it is an important element of the picture, giving a reference point and an "anchor" to the clouds.
