Caught these two in the corner of my eye, so had to photograph quickly.
Didn't know that dragonflies have sex coloration. Just glad I got such complementary "no pun" colors.

Lucy:
Good job capturing this. Yes, male and female DF often have different coloration. Artistic post processing. Wish the bg is not so noisy.

Nice artistic presentation, Lucy. You may get more comments in the Photo Art gallery than you might get here.

Halloween pennants exhibit less coloration difference than many. The female typically has more yellow. For a truly startling difference, check out Common Pondhawks (Erythemis simplicicolis). Stephen Cresswell does a great job of contrasting them http://www.stephencresswell.com/d/simplicicollis.html.
Nice job! I've never caught them in a wheel.

Sam,
Good idea to put this in the art gallery. I am new, so I never know where to put my photos that I frame.
I hope framing is not too disconcerting, but, to me, as an art lover, a photo is not "finished" until it's framed. I know I should let the framing be up to the viewer...except in this kind of artistic framing to highlight my subject. What do you think?
