During a recent trip to Serengeti, I saw a group of Love Birds (Agapornis Personata) enjoying the morning sun. I took a few images and here is one of them. I envy them
Comments and Criticism welcome. I am here to learn!

Wonderful composition and bg, Srinivasan. My only nit is that the birds, particularly the rear one, seem just a trifle soft. You might try another round of sharpening and I don't think you needed quite that much shutter speed to freeze the action. Incredibly low noise for that iso. :toast:

A terrific flight shot; this species breeds as escaped birds in Phoenix, Arizona, and I tried a series of flights shots. They are very difficult. Well done. Minor nits: if it were mine, I'd apply a bit more sharpening, selectively to the birds. I suspect you'll have to balance noise with sharpening. And I'd clone out the branch in the lower right; it doesn't add much to the shot. And I have to echo Dennis here: stunning low noise for ISO2500. Amazing.

As the others have said, sharpness is an issue, but I'll echo Jim's comments on how difficult it is to capture these close up (particularly in flight). Not bad.

Srinivasan,

I like the different wing positions, the nice background and the natural colors. I agree with the comments about softness and the bit of noise in the background

I always wanted a pair of these birds when I was much younger but never got them, they are very beautiful

Srinivasan, I like the contrasting wing positions, the background and I think your composition works fine. Agree about the noise and sharpness though.
