Have many different versions of this Lily but this is the one I like best. I like the lines, curves and the punchy strong colors here.

ND200, 50mm F/1.8 Lens with 36mm of Extension, F/2.5, 1/100 Sec, Early morning light, IS0200 and handheld.

Please let me know what you think of this one.

Kind of having withdrawal symptoms not seeing great abstract from you for a while. This one certainly makes up for it. Superbly crafted. :toast: :toast:

This version works fine for me, Ram !! Love the overall colour harmonies and especially the yellow glow, as well as the rhythms set up by the petals and the stamens.

Graceful sweeping lines. I like the way you picked up the curve of the filaments with the curve of the petal. Very artistic Ram :toast:

Lovely abstract, Ram. If I had a wish, it would be that the leading edge of the petal closest to the viewer were sharper, and that may not have been your intention.

Nice job.

Cheers,

Carol

Carol, Thanks for an Extremely valid observation  . It would really take good amount of depth of field to get that closer petal sharper and it will also hurt the composition by bringing in more stamens into view . Focus stacking is perhaps the right option but this is not something that I am comfortable with right now.

What a beautiful image, Ram! Your lens catches the third dimension. Saturation of colors, light contrast, design, softness, point of interest: all splendid.
Take care.
