I took this in May, even knowing how harsh the early afternoon light would be. I wanted to take my daughter out to the wetlands and watch the birds and the clouds (see prior post in this challenge). I set the camera on the tripod, and my daughter chose the pose, pressed the shutter button, and ran and hopped onto me. Priceless, IMO, even with the less than ideal lighting conditions. I used some filters to try and control the light and enhance the image.

It's precious to have a photo to bring back this memory every time you look at it. If the house goes up in flames, I WILL save my family photos! Nice shot.

Definitely a priceless shot, Rob! I like the little Van Gogh thing in the sky too--although i think id keep that effect to the sky and keep it off the water.

A really fun self portrait, Rob! That's sure a wild an wacky treatment you used  I agree with Stan that it probably should have been reserved for the sky. It does wierd things to your faces and your left forearm (especially noticeable in the large version).
