Burden Falls

This is the waterfall at which I "cut my photographic teeth." I still remember taking my first photographs of this waterfall back in high school (and how disappointed I was with the results). It pleases me greatly to have finally developed the skills necessary to do this place justice

Love the foreground here. The soft lighting in back helps add a little extra visual flow, although I'm wishing I could see more of the waterfall itself.

Very nice, Taylor. I like the comp that you chose to use for this shot. Makes it interesting and you have a nice background with it. Good work.

Way to go, Taylor. We all learn as time goes by. Glad you stuck with it. This is a really nice comp and light. My only thought is to clone the green leaf lower center left.

A wonderful image Taylor, very peaceful and refreshing. I love the larger view which shows more of the detail on the rocks and the water exposure. Really nice!

Very strong composition with perfect exposure time. Good leading line upwards. Just wish the bushes covering the upper part was not there. Nice shot.

Neat composition, the foreground in particular works really well. I like what you have done with the water shutter speed wise.

Excellent Taylor. This looks like a shot that would be sweet with fall color too.

Thanks everyone! Regarding the leaf on the left - that's the type of thing non-photographers seem to enjoy, so I opted to leave it in. I've already had one girl say, "I just love that cute little leaf on the rock!"

Tony, a big thanks for your wonderful actions. They've become a main part of my work flow and what previously took me hours can now be accomplished in just a few minutes.

Well if the girl is as cute as the leaf then you're in business

Love the comp and the foreground is quite engaging, I love these types of shots and you're done this justice.

Excellent!

Id advise a touch of highlight glow and then an extra sharpen in the water texture going over the rock to push this a bit further in development. Still very nice as presented.
