Beach 4

Returned last Thursday from a wedding in Seattle and 4 days on the Olympic Peninsula. Nothing happening in the way of spectacular sunsets (foggy/cloudy every evening), so spent one evening on Beach 4 trying to focus on more intimate seascapes. Here is one effort. Comments much appreciated. Please also see larger image.

Works great, Matthew. I like how I can "walk" the stones into the frame.

This works for me, nice mix of stones and water.

This shows that the horizon can be elliminated sometimes. Strong curve in the water leading towards the big rock on top. The small shells are perfectly sharp when looking at the larger version. The part of rock in the bottom right is good for balancing the composition. Well done Matthew.

Really different Matthew. I like the dreamy look with the isolating comp.
