Lac du Basto is one of three lakes in Valmasque Valley, Mercantour National Park, French Marittime Alps.
This was shot at the beginning of the second day of our three days treck around Mount Bego, through Valmasque and Merveilles Valleys.
The lake is at 2200m of altitude.

This looks like an interesting place. The image has nice lines but it needs a boost in contrast to make it sing.

Lots of potential here. I like the comp with the strong foreground object. However, it seems to blend a bit to well with the background making the depth perception a bit difficult.
