White-tail from TNP outing 2003

Gallery: WildlifePosted September 10, 20041,575 views10 comments

This is from one of our Texas NPN group outings at Choke Canyon SP last year. It’s time again and we have at least one date set so far this fall with another in the works. The birding is great as is the mammals this time of the year. Anyone planning on being in Texas this fall come on over to the Texas group of NPN. If this year is anything like last year there will be lots of image opportunities and good company.

Beautiful Portrait. Can't believe you shot that with a 200mm lens! You must have been close!

Stunning portrait and excellent angle of light to show off the rack, might be the best deer image I've ever seen. Looks like they had plenty to eat this year. Good luck with your upcoming shoots.
