I like the light in this Vincent and the implied diagonal in the composition. I'm considering the other stems in the image as to cloning or darkening them out to better emphasize the elements of the main composition. I'd have to play with it and see it to decide. It's a beautiful image as posted.

Great lighting and detail on the main flower. I really like the two buds flanking the mainflower of the diagonal.l

Vincent: Superb comp and wonderful light. The only thing that would make this better for me is if the lower bud was on the plane of focus as well. Superior shot. >=))>

Nice sense of transparency in the petals, Vincent.

Thanks for the comments everyone! FYI - I have an alternate version of this same flower in macro. Thanks again! - Vince

Quality of light on the main flower looks excellent. It would have been great if you had the lower bud also in the same plane but it is what it is. Slightly larger photo may be better here too !

Vincent, I really like this. You have a great diagonal line and soft opposing lines. Your focus appears to be great. I think you did very well.

Cheers,

Carol

Vincent:
Good capture. I like this one more than the one in macro gallery; compositionally more engaging.

I agree with the lower bloom focus Vincent, but a wonderful composition and capture. :toast:
