Love how the rose bud is emerging out of the beautiful colors of the petals and the greens of the foliage. A new perspective that works well.

I like this a lot Catherine. Compositionally, I like the curves in the sepals echoed by the petal in the bg. Beautiful complementary colors. Sharp and interesting POF. And in addition to the technical merits of the image, I see a baby bird when I look at it. Very fine work for my tastes.

Nice idea to position the bud against the petals in the background. Green and Red is always a winning combination. :cool:
