Had a hunch there would be some frogs at the local County Park and I was right - unfortunately it's too late in the season for what I'm really after (Grey Tree Froglets) so I had to settle for this Juv. Green Frog

Nikon D300s 105 f/2.8mm VR HH crouched in 1' of water
f/11
1/320s
ISO 640

Cropped, some cloning of OOF elements and lens flare, sharpened

Luke:
I have no luck with frogs this summer so I am enjoying all your frog images. Like the reflection of the eye in the water. You must be pretty close to this subject as the DOF is quite shallow for F11 and kudos for not scarring it away.

Luke,
Perfectly composed. The frogs head is very sharp while the rest of the image is pleasingly OOF. Very, very, nice. The lighting and colors are spot on. I really like this Luke. Well Done.

Very nice comp, Luke. I like how the water's edge on the pad flows from the frog to the eye reflection .
