Early Breakfast

I found this "couple" on top of a nearby mountain just after sunrise. As you could guess, the spider was not attacking the butterfly. The two arthropods were collecting warmth from the sun on this flower.

Nikon D200, 60mm Micro Nikkor, C-PL filter, tripod. Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria.

Great to have both on the same plant.
I really like the colors, comp, and BG here.
Nice DOF to get both critters sharp.

IMO, it might need a bit more room on top. This would be easy to clone in, if you didn't have the room in the original image.

Ha! talk about sleeping with the enemy! Nice capture. Good details and color. The image seems a bit dark imho. Maybe a boost in the midtones?
