Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/10, 0.62sec, ISO 200.

I see a carnival barker in this image, or at least a carnival atmosphere. Comments appreciated.

Carnival barker...cookie monster in costume.....crop for abstracts....wow you can do lots with this shot Albert. You might wan tto try a curves adjustment to give the image a little more pop. Hopefully this was taken after the rain or go dry off that canera and lens LOL

This is great--but i would like it much more with the bg cropped out, so its all warm flower petals.

Albert,

I love the flower and droplets but in this case I agree with Stan. I think I'd like a tighter crop to eliminate the bg. Beautiful rich color and the lines of the petals are really nice.

To Pat and Stan: I wanted a carnival mood for this presentation. and to me the black B.G. gives it this mood

Bejeweled ... lusterous with droplet crystals. Nicely done. I would even go so far as to clone out the black spots on rt side just it all appear more clear looking...purely a personal tweak...

Very nice colours but IMO a bit oversharpened.

Very Nice Albert, the delicate colors and shading on the petal is exquisite and the droplets of course are the icing on the shot. Well seen, and captured ( pre and post).

Now that you mention carnival I can see cotton candy and rides and candied apples, all roaming through the image. I agree with Stan's suggestion, though.

This is both cool, droplets, and warming. Fantastic detail against the dark BG and it all is working so well.
Congrats on this beauty!

Lovely jewels, Albert. I agree. There is a definite excitement to this image because of the color range IMO. Nice contribution.

Cheers,

Albert: Interesting take and an effective image. I would be inclined to crop this tighter and fill the frame. >=))>
