Agave Palmeri
by Daniel & Loana
One of the Succulentae from our garden. Its diameter is about 1.5 meters and the flower can reach 4-5 meters (this is what is written in our books). It is near a little pond and its long terminal thorns are frequently used by dragonflies to rest near water.
Hope you like this. Comments and suggestions appreciated as usual.

I would like to see a 5m flower!!!
Like this image a lot. Unusual geometric shapes, monochromatic but broken by orange and the shadows. Well seen and captured.

Well, the 5m flower is not really a flower, technically it is an inflorescence, composed by many many little flowers. And it means death of the plant, as for all agave.
We don't know how to add the larger version at this stage (trying to upload a file in this reply but it doesn't accept files larger than 200kb).
Thanks again

With regard to the larger version, it must be posted with the original image and cannot be added later, even in a comment on your own post. Well seen.>=))>
beautiful composition with interesting lines. I like the colors too.
