Nice comp. I'd lighten up the vignetting around the corners so more details can come through.

Well, i hate to pick on you since my nitpick is a personal bias, but i always comment on the preceding 5 posts, so i gotta do it This is a classic example of why i don't care for long ocean exposures 90% of the time. IMO, the long exposure kills all the potential in the shot--if i could see more detail in the water, it would be more dynamic and engaging, Instead, im left looking at what appears to be smoke--it's flat and uninspiring to me. On the positive side, i like the color reflections on the distant surf, and the fg rocks have some cool lines and shapes. Im sure you'll get plenty of enthusiastic response for this image--most people love the long exposure stuf, im just not one of them.

Thanks both
That's ok Stan, I appreciate your honesty.
Wait until you see the seascapes I've taken with my 10 stop ND filter on then, you'll just love those

This is a lovely shot. I'm not entirely a fan of the smoky water either but i think there's just enough highlight in it to pull this off. The sky is lovely and soft which compliments the water and the rocks have some lovely reflections also.
Only nits would be that the horizon looks a little distorted or sloping left to my eye and the midground rock is a bit too dark and draws my attention.

This is a nice picture with a strong foreground and good sky. I hardly see the smoke that Stan objects to, but I'm not in the camp that dislikes it. The rocks seem both smooth and rough at the same time - a nice illusion.
I concur with Andrew's comment about the horizon.

This strong image needs just a little more pp IMHO-the black rock on the horizon and those on the sides could brighten up. Your choice of long exposure is mighty fine! I think the white wisps add a smooth texture to the sea complementing the sky. The light reflectance in the right side rocks look great.

The foreground rocks look almost organic I really like the orange reflected light on them.

Geoffrey,
Lovely sky and great interaction of the surf and coastal rocks. I love the colors, the water and reflected light. I'm a little unsure about how much you need on the left, or at least the darkness on the left is a little heavy in the composition; but not so much that it takes away from the wonderful foreground.
