Beach Still Life

Needed a polarizer to damp down the reflected highlights on a beach near Santa Cruz. Even so the blue cast of the sky shows through in the rhs, but to my mind it rather adds to the color palette.

I really like the greens and texture in the grass, but I'm not too sure about the kelp. I think I would prefer more of an abstract with just grass, but still a nice image.

Interesting image. I really like the opposing lines and the different textures - colors are nice too. Fine work.

I'm right there with Rudy. It's nice as is, but I can see a fantastic brilliant green abstract of just the grasses.
