Well composed and rendered, Bill. The detail on the blossom is great. I would be tempted to try a layer blend to finish getting the right petal in focus.

Bill:
Looks like the flower is taking a bow. Lovely lines in the petals and the purple is nicely shown off by the green.

Another interesting shot Bill, I like how the flow of the background mirrors the shape of the flower.

This is superb Bill. I love the soft color palette but its mostly your comp here that impresses. Lots of energy and interest in the perpendicular diagonals of the flower and the fronds. It has a Cubist feel to me, even though a single perspective. Really fine work.

Bill, I think this is a superb presentation. Gorgeous details and colors and a lovely DOF. I should shoot so well.

Bill, I think if your crop just a teeny bit from the bottom, the plant would feel less as though it's falling on it's side. What do you think?

Hi Bill. Another very cool shot of this bloom. Very nice color and sharpness. I like having the leaf in the BG, though I sort of wish that the 'X' (or 'V') formed by the other foliage was a bit more subtle.

Not quite as dramatic as the previous one from a lighting perspective but attractive nevertheless  - Like how the main cone is framed by the two opened petals and the curve.

This is just exquisite, Bill !! Wonderful sweep of leafage in the bg complementing the splayed petals, and superb sharpness and delicate colouring in the flower.
