Nice abstract Paolo, especially in the FG. I might crop a little off the top to further emphasize the more colorful FG. I love the pattern of the ripples. Nice eye.

Those are some interesting colors, I wouldn't have guessed this was a mountain being reflected. The patterns, textures, and colors are fantastic. A very inspiring abstract!

So nice to see such a wonderful rendition of a classic water scene. The patterns are so glossy and abstract.
Very nice shot.

A lovely abstract image Paolo! Love the patterns in the water and the colour. The water looks almost metallic. :toast:

The ripples really make this for me. Great colors, too. Nicely done.

Pretty abstract, Paolo--nice graphical design! My only reservation is that there is a strong 50/50 split here (the top half and bottom half are failry homogenous, but different from each other).

I really like the complexity of this abstract Paolo with the repeating waves in each wave. Very unique take on waves.

For almost anyone else I'd think this looked too good to be real, For you, though, I won't make waves :jump: The texture within the ripples is quite amazing. How'd you do that?

The thumbnail doesn't do this justice. Perfect title.

Superb Paolo. Love the design and textures in the water, and the almost molten metal look to the water is incredible.

Thanks for the comments, it's always a pleasure reading your thoughts.
Tony, thanks for trusting me...
This is nothing but a fortunate mix of wind, timing, and shutter speed. There were already small waves on the lake surface, but when I shot this one there were also light wind gusts that are responsible of the small ripples on the bigger waves, that's what has added much of the texture on the water. The 1/10 of second came out to be the best shutter speed to turn those ripples into "brush-strokes".

I trust you too! This does look like something only software could create. It's just so painterly( it actually looks like a pool of paint). I Like it very much, just wild!
