Very nice. Maybe a little soft. How much of a crop is this?

Very nice flight image, Eric. I like the open beak and the intense look. :toast:

Great for handheld and on the run. How did you even achieve focus? Good one.

Was not easy to focus on the run...lens is heavy! I was chasing the pair of Red Shouldered Hawks down a fence line along the pasture. Just pressed the shutter button and hoped for the best!

Dan...image is about 75% full frame,

Nice shot...especially for being on the run Eric. I like the head turn and open beak a lot in this one. Eye does seem a touch soft....but I think it still works.

Nice that he looked back for you Eric. I know I am being really picky, but hey we are all striving for perfection, aren't we? To me the bird is just a bit soft. Not bad for running and gunning.

Beautiful image Eric. Ever so slightly soft but but a terrific shot none the less.

Thanks for the comments........yes perfection is what we all seek! It does look a bit soft and could have been sharper, but still a cool shot!
