Cross Purposes

I found these ripples made by the wind as it blew the water around a large rock on Bear Lake in Colorado on Saturday. The lines of the ripples as the crossed each other made for an interesting criss-crossing, I thought.
I'm trying to be the first to post an autumn color reflection abstract this year.

Very nice abstract and the pano cop makes it even better. I like the strong saturation here.

Gotta love gold on blue, nice color contrast, and a very nice water shot. Really like that texture on the waters surface, and the colors play into it perfectly. Great capture!

Yes, the structure to the pattern, in addition to the complementary colors, makes this an extremely engaging photo of an isolated subject. I wasn't paying attention to whether this is the first of its kind, but it will no doubt be one of the best.
