Tropical Sunset

Here's another photo to "mess with your mind". Another ..matter of scale.. photo

This is a real sunset and a real silhouette. But, the silhouette is not of trees. It is a thistle plant in an abandoned pasture. I had to stand in a ditch trying to avoid the barbed wire, and hoping to avoid any rattlesnakes!

Good job placing the plants in the foreground. They ground the beautiful sunset and make a pleasant siloutte. A tree would have been nice, but hey... you take what is is available at that moment. Glad the rattlers stayed away!!! :toast:

Well, Lucy

In the small image ya fooled me. I'll admit I thought they were palm trees. Now if you could just get a rattlesnake silhouetted against those nice colors  Just kidding stay away from the snakes. in your part of the country they are big and nasty Western Diamondbacks.

It's certainly interesting and the silhouette technique works well. Just wish the silhouettes were a little higher to clear the horizon.
