A Disagreement

Two Puffins are having a disagrement in Iceland. The Third oof puffin here is not ideal but personally I feel there is enough separation for the image to work here, what do you think?

Thank you for looking!

Love the interaction but with that said the white on the 3rd Puffin is a bit bright and thus distracting.
I would also consider cropping a bit off the top.

but the interaction is well captured and love the light and detail.

What a sweet interaction you caught here. The third puffing doesn't bother me too much because it's white and black - if the bill were prominent it could be a distraction.

Agreed with cropping off the top. The third puffin is unfortunate, but you captured some cool interaction in gorgeous light.

Great light and interaction. Overall a wonderful image. The third puffin is just a minor distraction due to brightness. Perhaps it could just be toned down a bit. Love it though. :toast:

I don't find the OOF Puffin distracting. I think it might actually serve to put the "disagreement" into context - two males fighting for the attention of a female, perhaps?

Thanks for the comments!

Rita: The third puffin indeed seemed to be the cause of the disagreement

This is a wonderful image Jorne. It would have been over the top without the BG bird. Still really nice as posted.

Great image. I am so engaged by the foreground puffins, the one in the back just disappears.

You already know what I think Jorne.

Although I agree with the cropping suggestion, toning down the third puffin wouldn't cut it for me - it distracts from the action and it destroys the outline of the right puffin. But hey, that's just me.

Wonderful shot, I like the detail and sharpness and the third OOF puffin is not a distraction to me, great action, well done.
