You are so good, Bill I have no idea how you do light like this, but you do it so good. Every pixel is perfect, IMO.

I don't know how you kkep the light in check with a single exposure, and no filters! Really awesome exposure, and processing. Do Tony's masks let you under expose a little and then bring it back selectively?

Thanks guys! Chris, I use Tony's Luminosity Masks to selectively attack each range of tones and try to bring out the best of each. It does a great job of letting you finese your way through curves.

Per my comment on your previous post - now THIS one has some "WOW". Terrific clouds, great tones brought out of the dark water. If you're not opposed to making some purely artistic changes, I might suggest cooling it down a bit with a photo filter in PS. Makes for some interesting color contrasts between sky and ground without being unrealistic.

Bill,

Tunning beach seascape as always. It keeps my attention and makes me want to be there.

You really know how to handle the light at the coast, and I will second Tony's Luminosity masks. Can't fathom how I processed photos before them.

Beautiful image Bill. The colors are amazing and I like the reflected light on the wet sand which creates a nice leading line back to the sun. Well done.
