Very nice Luke, I like how you managed to keep the reflection separated from the shoreline. If this were mine, I'd crop a slice off the top to get rid of the bright shape in the ulc - when I try in my browser, it makes the image much more focused on the subject. Hope that makes sense.

Very nice Luke! To my eye the image is not soft! I really like the terrain around the bird.

Very pleasing Luke, the reflection and soft light are great! I think Marsel's suggestion is a good one!

Great reflection on this one Luke, the small sand hills give good texture to the BG, like it lots.

I like this one Luke, has a nice moody atmospheric feel to it. Looks like the poor thing was lonely out there.

Luke,
I like this a lot just as you presented it, it has a lovely mood. Quiet & peaceful.

Luke,
Sorry to get into this late. Been busy. I like the reflection and the pose of the bird. Nice catch light in the eye and the lighting is nice and soft, almost foggy, dreamy like. The drop of water at the end of the beak is very nice. I would perhaps take some off the top to eliminate the standing water in the ulc. Appears much cleaner with that removed. Nice job on handholding with a 1.7 converter and getting this sharp. Congrats Luke.

Very nice. I love the light on the mud, sand. Gives it an artistic feel.

Nice one Luke - I like the way you've kept plenty of space around the bird. I'd clone out the ulc rather than crop if it worries you.
cheers
