Too many Nice Dahlias getting posted - adding one of my attempts to the large pool. Almost all colors have been used up, so I looked for something different.

ND200, 105mm F/2.8 VR Lens (warm, rich colors), F/11, 1/40 Sec, 36mm of ET, Tripod and Diffuser.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Airy Aster and do let me know what you think of this one.

Outstanding color and refreshingly different perspective from most Dahlia photographs.

Ram:
Can't miss out on all the fun  . Beautiful image. :toast:
The edge of the right lower 2nd and 3rd petals is zig-zagged ?due to oversharpening.

Gary, If you are refering to the bottom edge of those petals its natural. There are small projections on the petals.

In contrast to the soft aster shot, this one is bold and beautiful. You really should begin a table book of your images! Stunning. :toast:

Love the colors here Ram. Nice dof choice and the shadows inside the folds of the petals give it a beautiful sense of depth. Composition is very original and details are A++. Well done.

A creative image Ram. Surely I love the two colors mixing in the scene, but also the composition very much. An almost natural abstract image. Splendid.
Cheers.
