I like the image Richard. The reflection on the leaf in the viewer's upper right corner is a little distracting to me and a polarizer might have allowed you to avoid it, assuming you wanted to. Neat subject and I like the areas of shadow in the image. This might also make an interesting black and white conversion.

Richard,
Nice photo of a flower that can be difficult to compose attractively due to its odd structure. It's a pond Lily (genus Nuphar), which is quite common in slow and still waters.

I like this one a lot Richard. If it were mine I might consider cropping the left side to exclude the bug and glare as Pat mentioned. I really like the reflection and the large stems under the surface. Very nice. :toast:

Some nice light going for you here, Richard with subdued reflection which is helping the photo. I like the framing using the pads and the slight off center composition also.

Richard:
I like the blue sky reflection on the water. The framing is fine and highlights on the leaves can be toned down.

A beautiful image of the microcosm, Richard. I am not sure about the polirize filter: the water seems photographed with, the reflexions in the flower and pads seem without. Anyway, I love the photo.
Take care.

Richard: I like this pretty much as is. I think I would make the bug go away via cloning but that's a pretty small nit. Nice find and a fine capture. >=))>
